I was just about to install the 600mhz .ipk file. The thread containing the instructions is deleted.
Is it still safe to install it? Thanks.

    Hi caj, already installed LOL.

    Code:
    root@palm-webos-device:/# ipkg install /tmp/com.unixpsycho.600mhz.AnyOS_armv7.ipk

    Begin installation of com.unixpsycho.600mhzoverclock
    Installing com.unixpsycho.600mhzoverclock (1.0.0) to root...
    Configuring com.unixpsycho.600mhzoverclock
    Installing...
    Patching Luna...OK
    Creating backup...OK
    Putting hack in place...OK
    Verifying...
    root@palm-webos-device:/# cat /proc/cpuinfo
    Processor	: ARMv7 Processor rev 3 (v7l)
    BogoMIPS	: 597.68
Should I take it off? The .ipk you had worked perfectly, plus I like to install everything the old school way, directly on a linux terminal. Also, let me know in what dir the backup file is created. If I run the regular ipkg remove command, will it restore the kernel to previous version?

BTW, mad props on the slick .ipk, 600Mhz is more then enough for me, performance wise. My Pre is freaking fast now.
