I am trying to add a signature to an email account on my pre. I enter it in and perform a back gesture and when I check the signature area again my sig is gone.

I feel like I am taking crazy pills

Anyone have an idea as to how I will save a sig?

have you tried changing the sig, swiping up to close the preference window, and then checking on it again?

I haven't tried changing my sig. "Sent from my Palm Pre" is good for me.

Yes, I believe that was a known issue with 1.4 as well. Too bad to see it's not been fixed with 1.4.1.1.

Two possible "workarounds" The one that was mentioned before also if the signature atleast begins with one dash (-) you should still be able to save your signature.

The first work around would be swiping the card off the screen? I had tried that and it didn't work. I will add a dash to the begging and report back.

Tried having my sig begin with a dash and didn't work.

I can totally relate, but I find that if you don't go back (to check) and just send an email you will find that your signature actually does change. ..But if you ever go back into the preferences, it reverts back. At least this is my experience and I just tried it out to see if it was still the case.

It will drive you batty if you keep going back to check though.
In love with my launch day Pre Plus! Here are my impressions thus far.

So, it seems there are multiple workarounds that seem to work for different people.

A third possible workaround is to add a space before your signature.

Go into signature, erase current signature, press enter key twice, enter new signature.
