    Hey all,

I am going to Thailand next week and a lot of the places I am going to have free wi-fi. I don't want to bring my comp, but was thinking about bringing my phone to take advantage of the internet. I don't want to have to turn on my phone radio and get phone calls or text charges. Is there a way to turn off the phone radio so I only use the wifi capability?

    Thanks!

Just put it in airplane mode. That will turn off all the radios. You can still turn on and use WiFi independently of the Phone radio.

There's also the Phone Radio Toggle patch: puts a toggle in the device menu.
