I'm curious to know how apps and webos updates work? If a update is 6MB does that mean more files added to my 8gb hard drive? Or do the updates replace existing files?

I would assume that it would just overwrite what's being changed and only add if there's something new.

    EDIT:
Forget my assumption. I went on a 'fact-finding' mission. See my next post for details.....

    I found the FACTS:

... Binary Delta Compression technology allows a major reduction of download size by only transferring the difference between the old and the new files during the update process.
