This news needs to go up on Engadget. How do we achieve this?

I hope it fixes more than just paid apps, the image overwriting is a real problem!

Oh, same here.
I guess I just was noticing What's new at the time.
I'm so used to just going to the recent apps.

Nothing yet on my German Pre in Holland on KPN.

Any news yet on Palm's policy on the paid apps? All over Europe, or only through officially supported carriers in the select 4 European countries.

At last!

For a 12mb download on wireless, it's taking an age though!

Downloading - UK, very slooowwwwww.

I just can't wait until i can put the speed patch back on, going back it does seem a lot more sluggish.

Got the update over 3G, Orange UK rebelsim.

Has anyone installed it with a rebel yet, and do we know if it breaks it?

I'm guessing I'm asking too much for them to extend payment of apps beyond Mastercard and Visa? Paypal would be sweet!

EDIT: Also 492 apps in App Catalog for O2 user in UK

Installing now in Scotland. Took an age to download and failed validation the first time, but I'm almost there! Initial reports from a friend who's just finished is that there is a distinct lack of apps so far.

My card details are not accepted either. I wonder if it requires a credit card and doesn't accept Visa Debit. If this is the case then I will be rather enranged. Hopefully not, as I don't want to apply for a credit card until I start my new job in July :\

Yes, it does.
I tried to put my Visa debit in first, but I was rejected for that too. Put a Mastercard in second time, and it accepted instantly.
