How can i brick my pre?

my phone has been bugging out but the only way i can use webosdoctor is when it is in that usb mode you get when you hold volume up when turning on but then my pre turns back on so it says device disconnected. im hoping if i brick it it will be able to make it through the whole process.

bricking wont help in any way just try following the steps in the link in my signature

i tried that but if you can read that it say it will turn on before it gets through the doctor
