Has anybody figured out how to do this, short of the 'screen shot' way? It would be awefully nice to be able to click on a picture and have a 'save picture as' function.

    Thanks for the help dude!

Note to anybody else reading this thread... the orange button hold + tapping the picture works great on the 'web' program, but it doesnt seem to work in the facebook app. If you want to save a pic from facebook, you'll need to go to the mobile web version of the site and you CAN save the pics that way.

Option + tap only works in the Web and Email apps. It doesn't work in the Facebook app, or any other web-connected app, and rightfully so. The Dev may not want or have the rights to allow you to copy images to your device.

Also rightfully so, Palm has not built that function in to webOS' image capabilities by default. The Dev has to specifically add it.

Chill. There is no need to jump down someone's throat for asking a simple question. They have under 20 posts and joined just this month.... way to welcome someone to the community.

no doubt, I was always taught there are no dumb questions, only dumb answers. That being said yo jordon are you serious with that dumb answer.

the correct answer would be always search first before you start a thread then ask. Yes you can by pushing the orange or grey button (depending on style of phone) and touching the image. I would like to think that we roll a little better than that here at p/c. Don't be a jerk:-)

Are you seriously going to flame somebody for asking a question on a forum that is all about HELPING eachother? Do us all a favor and never post again.

Anyways, since you know about the screen cap... try the orange button and clicking the picture.
