    This may be a silly thing, but why do all of the screens have the rounded corners? I think this give the illusion of a smaller screen. I wonder if there is a way to change the corners to be rectangular. I know the actual screen is rectangular, and some apps display this way. Also, can the top bar be hidden to use that screen real estate?

    I don't mean the phone, I mean the visualized screen. Notice how much bigger the screen appears when in the browser.

    webos quick install has a tweak that will get rid of the rounded edges.

    it's a design, that's why they all have it... mamouton is right, if you don't like it "there's a patch for that".

    Full screen apps can use the whole screen, including the area at the top. You will see that some of them do.

    it isn't a patch it is a tweak in web os quick install
    click tweaks then go to styling mods and click the squarify corners.
