Hello, I'm from korea who is very interested at webOS.
So I'm planning buying pre without contract.
but however there are no carriers support pre's network spec.
so i'm not planning to use pre as cellphone. I just want to use webOS.

so here's my question. can i bypass activation process and use it?
and i heard pre plus can't bypass it. is it true?

Yes, you can use a Palm Pre or Palm Pre Plus without a service contract. You will need to modify a WebOS Doctor and then use it on your new phone in order for it to work. You can find all the info you need here:

    Application:MetaDoctor - WebOS Internals
