I'm not sure if there is another post on this and if there is please delete it my thread. My problem has happened a couple of times now. When I go to sleep I always turn off the phone and it generally has a full charge as a I charge it before I go to sleep. When i wake up the phone is completely dead to the point where I can't turn it on or even get the battery thing to show up. I am 100% positive the phone turns off as I make sure it turns off when I shut it down. Anyone else have this problem and if you do any suggestions on how to fix it.

    Thanks,
    Alex

P.S. It has happened around five times and it happened in 1.3.1 as well has 1.4

the pre doesnt charge while its off plug it in/put on touchstone while its on until it dings/vibrates to tell you its charging

I fully charge it with the regular charger and then turn it off. It has nothing to do with the touchstone.

also if you are using the touchstone if it is not on the base correctly it will die like that sometimes. It has happened to me at least once.

well then its sounding like a battery issue does it have problems keeping a charge while its on?

ok then I have never heard of this before . If your battery is dying while phone is completely shut down then return the battery . They will replace it without question.

I have to say other than this issue I don't have any other battery issues. I guess if it happens again I will just return the battery like shadavis08 says to do.

I think the more fundamental question is why you turn your phone off when you go to sleep...

I'm pretty much 100% positive. The swap battery screen comes up and at that point I hit shut down and I watch the phone turn off after I hit shut down.
