I have been looking around and people keep talking about 700mhz or 800mhz.

I would just be happy to have the rated 600mhz speed unlocked. Is there any negative side effects to doing this?

Can anyone help me to put the patch or fix on my Sprint Palm Pre 1.4 to make it 600mhz?

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advanced!

was pretty easy and works great. I can notice the speed. Do you have command line access? Using novaterm or putty or something?

as with any upclock or overclock there is a risk of overheating the chipset but as far as finding the patch... Let me know if you find it lol

Let's be clear that the 600 patch does not overlock your phone - also remember that when you run a 3d game the phone is set to work at 600. I am currently running 600 on the 1.4 and everything is fine.

(got to go back to 1.3.5 to finish 800 testing)

Does anyone know the command to check the CPU speed on the Palm Pre? I saw it somewhere online a while back but I can't find it now.

    Thanks!
