    Pre Pals:

I love my old Centro ringtone. Does anybody have mp3's of the Centro tones?

I have them on my Pre. *Somewhere* in PreCentral is a link to a ZIP file with the Centro's MIDI tones recorded as MP3s. I don't remember if it was linked from a forum post or an article, though. Good luck!

Hmm. I searched centro, midi, mp3, and I cannot find those. Any thoughts?

    This should be it:

    Search Words: Treo Ringtones

The Centro's model number is, after all, the Treo 690.

Thanks, but I looked at those, and they are from the treo. I want the ones from the Centro, which are different. I really liked the default centro ringtone.

The tones were tweaked from model to model, but they're essentially the same. My Centro's default ringtone was present on my Treo 650. Are you on Sprint or Verizon?

I'm with Verizon. The default ringtone was really pretty.

OK, looks like the treo classic ringtone is the one, but the one on my centro is much more bell like.

OK, fired up my Centro, and under sound preferences I found the one I wanted. I was able to bluetooth send it to my Mac. It was a midi file. I then changed it to an MP3 with a free online converter. I then transferred it to my Pre in USB mode, and that did it. Got it!
