    I was just trying it in wosqi n is not working...when I get to the third line it stays stuck on it

    600 MHz appeared as if it was working fine in 1.4 until I realized I could not launch an app. Menus worked fine and the app launcher itself appeared intact, but it would not launch an app. Time to Doctor.

    wooow, I can't get it to work on wosqi command line n the terminal app is broken fr 1.4

    Oh snap! I think it worked on mine: after writing all those commands. i then put:
    "cat /sys/devices/system/cpu/cpu0/cpufreq/scaling_cur_freq" and it reads 600000, that means its running at 600mhz?!?


    btw I got it to work by rooting into the phone.

    yea that means is running @ 600 which commands did you use n where did you typed it on

    I'm running 600 on 1.4 with no issues. Just install using WOQI

    if you google for palm pre tethering you come across a, hwo to hack(teather) palm pre into wifi router, go there and it will show u the instructions to root into ur fone

    type in cat /proc/cpuinfo using linux commend line in webos QI and it should tell the bogomips its running at should be just under 600 if its installed correctly

    597.68 sound about right for 600mhz?

    The way I understand it, all stock Pre's run at 500MHz, but get bumped up to 600MHz when running 3D intensive games.

    all that was said is that the processors are a better quality or something like that or they tested at a higher speed when made . not sure how it works , and i dont have a link it was stated by someone on another thread in here if i find it again i will tell you where
