    Dude. You are totally hot.

Oh, & I'm sick of the error too. I don't think 1.4 is supposed to fix it either.

Does the plus really remedy that? It seems more like a logical error to me.

I haven't heard any issues with the plus doing this. Plus has profuse amount of memory.

has anyone else have this problem with the game closing ? Then it says application error? *** palm I'm mad >:| makes me want to swtich to a nother phone :/

It sucks...no doubt...and it should not be as bad on the Plus...but for the folks who are stuck with 1st gen hardware, this might help:

    http://forums.precentral.net/homebre...121-jstop.html

It's available via PreWare and really has helped me out. I can launch it, see how much memory is available, see who's using what, and kill processes that are running to free up memory. Normally, I just kill apps that I think should be gone but are still available...perhaps for efficiency's sake (to speed up launching).

I now find that I need to reboot far less.

Sure, not the best solution...and definitely not one for casual users...but it's a nice work around for folks who don't mind getting their hands dirty.

Probably something has a memory leak somewhere. Someone once mentioned a trick of opening a site in the web browser and then it somehow frees up memory.

get it too. hate it. one of the main reasons i was irate that the pre plus got announced 3 months after the pre got released in england, and just a month after i bought it.

Yeah, I have the Plus too and I'm sorry for you guys, but I haven't seen this error. Hope they can get it fixed and working like the Plus. Funny thing is, we had a Pixie Plus that was having the too many cards error.

+1, very irritating and unacceptable for a multitasking phone

i would think there is somewhere a memory leak in the programming... maybe its possible to fix it. It can't be the only solution to this problem to buy a pre plus.

I am waiting for 1.4 and after that maybe palm can fix some of the memory bugs in there.

I have the 1st gen Pre and get the 'Too Many Cards" error even when I only have one card open. I am trying to install an app right now and cannot do it because of this error. I definitely do not have too many cards so it is either a memory leak or some other OS error, right?!

how much memory does jstop show you as using without any cards open?

Sounds like you guys fubared your phones up with patches and never doctored it to fix the problem.
