Try clearing your cache files within IE and delete cookies. It should work fine if that doesn't work try another browser if you can.

footnote: I never use IE (and normally windows neither) but normally people awaits that you do so .... i.e. I expected that this way would have been more stress free.....

p.s. I have cleaned all the cache etc .. I have just found a note saying that in europe the chat room is open only on working hours .. I"ll try tomorrow again ... let"s see .....

Just call them. The support link says support is limited something like 1-3 months after purchase, but they extended the time for the palm pre since there were so many ongoing issues. Or at least that was the case when I did a chat a couple of months ago.

Default Don't bother.

The chat support is actually atrocious, count your blessings that something technical is preventing you from "experiencing" that first hand. (You'll end up having to call in, anyway, if a repair or replacement is required, and any troubleshooting you do through the chat isn't logged.) Search for some of the transcripts that have been posted here on the forums, it's quite sad.

I've chatted with them a few months ago and had no problem.

You have to chat on Internet explorer. Mozilla won't work (at least it didn't for me.)

Firefox works..just requires a little more work

For Windows:

1. Upon clicking the chat button, you will see a dialog asking you to save the Support-LogMeInRescue application. Choose Save File.
2. From the menus in Firefox, choose Tools | Downloads.
3. The first item in the list should be the Support-LogMeInRescue application. Double click this application to start your chat.
4. This application is designed for one-time use, in order to protect your security. It can be deleted or ignored once you have completed your chat.
