Hey guys. I am having a problem installing patches in preware. None of them install. When it gives me the error and I look at the IPKG log all it says is that it had an error during the install process. Don't worry you can get techy with me. I am pretty tech literate. Any help is greatly appreciated. Oh and I am really sorry if I am in the wrong spot.

Thanks for your reply. I guess I should have mentioned that I have restarted my pre several times since this has been happening. Also, I have recently done a full erase as well as used webos doctor. So everything is fresh. And I rebooted my mac today and I am positive I have everything installed on my computer. Thats just some additional info. Any way I will try reinstalling with QuickInstall and post my results.

make sure when you connect it to your comp it's in 'just charge' mode, that was my problem when I couldn't install patches at first

Try using the emergency patch installer in preware. Make sure to restart your phone afterwards and try again to install patches.

It won't let me install this either. The IPKG says failure during post execution process. Oh, and I installed the cleanup VKB package and that installed but didn't help either.
