    Ok stupid question. How do I play WMA's in my PRE? Or am I just out of Luck?

    Probably in the long-term too. It is a complete waste of money in my opinion for Palm to pay Microsoft the necessary licensing fees to enable WMA playback.

    It sucks for the music that you already have, but it's a valuable lesson for the future: stick to mp3 or AAC and avoid dying formats with inferior sound quality.

    You only have to pay licensing for the decryption key for DRM'd WMA files. Even open source ffmpeg can decode non-DRM'd WMA without paying licenses.

    They could add support for free regular WMA that people encoded themselves without paying any fees.

    Just did a quick google search for an app

    wma-mp3 .org/

    I'm pretty sure Windows Media Player does this as well.
