    Once I tried that code #*786# code on a patched German O2 GSM model. It did not display a date, just the webOS and Sprint (in my case) versions , a hardware revision, a reset button and a communications error. This post explains more about hash codes on a GSM model.

    When I enter the code #*786#, just showed "unknown application".
    By the way, I am a Chinese, English not good.Them very difficult to read.

    OK. You can NOT use those codes on a GSM Pre. Why not? Follow the link in my previous post.
