    Hi Guys,

I finally received my GSM German Pre this weekend!!!!(Living in Holland where no officail release wil come) Yippee!!!
After having the first steps with palm true the amazing TX, I bought myself a Treo 680, and after waiting since January 2009 I bought myself the Pre.
My first impression after a weekend tinkering: Just Awesome!!!
My experience with the Treo with resets at moment you donít want, missed called sms's that you receive 5 hours late and what not.........
I can truly say I am very very happy with it!!!
The issues of buying a unseen unit off the eBayÖ. No problem, keyboard just fine, Oreo effect is due to the build quality (the only minor un-satisfaction)
But al in al e Great device !!!!
Any tips for must have patches or apps?

Thanks for mentioning Music Player (Remix), but this is not a patch. It's a homebrew app.

Ah yes, I'd almost forgotten the regular resets on the 680

I'd ditto "Really Silent Ringer Switch Mute" patch, it gets you back to where the Treo started from with the 600 etc. (for me at least)

Preware is a must, as you can then add patches.
"Enter key for New Line in SMS" is a very useful patch, as is "Vibration in Calc App"

The homebrew "Battery Saver" is great for turning the "Phone/Radio" off every night.

And if you are a current user of Outlook PocketMirror is the best non "clouds" solution to sync'ing.

Too much more to tell you, just keep enjoying the Pre
    Thought of the day :
No sense being pessimistic, it probably wouldn't work anyway

I tried that patch, but could not see it working, so I removed it?

I know lots of users really rate it, so could you explain in simple terms what it does.

    Cheers.

Once installed, you need to go into Screen & Lock and enable it at the bottom by turning on Blink Notifications.
