Lately, my Pre has been randomly shutting off. Before I could just whip the battery out and put it back in but now it requires taking out, waiting for some time, and trying. Sometimes it doesn't even turn on or just stays at the Palm screen forever. Has anyone experienced similar behavior?

Normally this wouldnt really bother me but I use my Pre to wake me up for classes and now I can't really trust it to stay on.

On top of that, whenever I update an app, it fails. Says phone restart is required which does nothing. Half my apps don't even work now.

Will Sprint help me? I already exchanged my first Pre back in the summer so this is my second unit. No damage as far as I'm aware.

Yup, I got mine the first week. Will the Sprint store replace it there? I don't want to make the trip (it's an hour away) if I can just do it over the phone.
