Exclamation AppScoop issue? Update on the way

Hey folks,

I noticed last night that something in the feeds is breaking AppScoop.

Good news is, I submitted an update last night that works around the issue. Lets hope we will see the update today.

I've also added Beta apps support in this update!. Hope you'll like it.

Sorry for the trouble folks. Not sure if Palm changed anything with the feeds.

Cheers,
Diwa

***The Palm App Catalog is now working again. v1.0.5 is the latest version and you should be able to download it***

The update is now available folks. Its AppScoop v1.0.5. Strangely enough, since the App Catalog is broken today (probably the same feeds issue that broke AppScoop) you won't see it in the Recent List.

Here is how you can get it.

0. Dont delete the current version of AppScoop on your phone. If you had deleted, you should download it again (v1.0.4) from the catalog first.
1. While in the App Catalog, tap on the bottom-right Shopping Bag button.
2. There it should say AppScoop has an update(v1.0.5) available.

You should see a bump in the number of apps available through AppScoop now that I've added Beta apps.

Keep in mind, there is another issue with the newly released Palm Web and Beta apps (since yesterday evening). For some reason, the download links don't work long after the Apps get 'published'. This happened a week ago and Palm fixed it a couple of days later.

Lets hope both of the issues get resolved soon. We don't want to have to look at a stale catalog for the entire weekend!

**I have added screen shots now**

What app are you getting the error with? I get it with Slacker but not with other apps.

I had to delete app scoop, redownload it and then update it. Otherwise my Pre would get hung up on installing.

That is another issue that Palm has to fix.

They are pushing out apps but their download links don't work. AFAIK none of the *new* apps since thursday night are available for download.
