same thing happened to me just now. I got it to work by pressing orange button+sym button+r button to reset and it reset like normal.

trying now... seemed to work so far... will let u know

I noticed when i plugged the usb cable in it went straight to "charging" without asking me

wasn't that a patch? didn't I just run EPR? why are patches still on the phone after running EPR ?

i just ran epr - went back into preware - and noticed a bunch of patches are still there (the ones i couldn't remove before)

WHAT THE HELL ARE THEY DOING THERE and how can i remove them

Strange..... Had the same thing happen to me on restart, just now... Stuck on the Palm screen... Keyboard reset seems to have fixed the issue of the stuck screen, but why did the EPR cause the stuck screen?

run this from the command line, you'll be fine:

    ipkg -o /media/cryptofs/apps remove org.webosinternals.patches*

trust me I know. I used to run QI all the time (im at work) and it worked but lately nothing has worked. I've went through the directions a trillion times. It started with latest update -- it just says "connect device"

(novacom is running , latest java installed , in "just charge mode", and developer mode turned on)

    restarts in between

    still nothing

i just installed terminal and hopefully this will work

ok then do it on terminal...after that u dont have to restart or anything just go to preware and u will have no problem....or restart just in case...by the way the errors u would get on qi....i used to get them but my only and best way to think about that is to restart the novacom service...works everytime!

do I run that WITH the * ? or without ?

i ran it without and it said:

    "no patches removed
    nothing to be done"

but in pre-ware it says still still needs to be updated (patches)
