    "S"cost 30-40% less
    Better 3g and soon 4g
    Can roam free to "V"
    Can call ANY mobile free
Premier customers (almost everyone here) can upgrade every year.

    Why is anyone with "V"?
Sprint is almost always cheaper, but there are Family Plan cases like mine where I have 3 lines and only requires data. Sprint forces all the lines on the family plan to pay for data. Verizon doesn't. I found that Verizon is about $40/mo. cheaper.

So, I consider myself an exception from the norm.

I wonder how long Verizon will offer the "buy one, get one deal" they have today on the new Palm phones

When I was on Verizon just 3 or 4 months ago the $44.99 data plan is for Exchange and BB access.... Without the $44.99 plan Exchange data does not work...

I did the same thing this morning comparing...it would cost me about 100 more a month for my two phones if I went to VW. That is insane.

I'm an ex-VZW customer. Prior to switching I had:

2-lines with 1400 everytime minutes (unlimited night and weekend which started at 9PM)
    unlimited messaging (txt, pix, video)
    no insurance
    no web
    no email
no data (except for browsing their store, which is free)
    with employee discount

    My bill was 120/month.

    On Sprint I have:
two lines with 1500 minutes and nights and weekends that start at 7PM
unlimited everything (but this was before mobile-to-mobile)
    with insurance
    with employee discount
    And I am paying ~$138.

Basically, the difference in my bill is insurance.

Do I miss VZW? Not really.
