    Hi guys,

    I'm new here.
I live in Italy, I have an unlocked Pre bought in Germany that works fine with my GSM carrier (Wind).

One thing that puzzles me is that I can't find any way to add Linkedin contacts to my Synergy cloud.

When I'm in the contacts app, I can go to the preferences&accounts menu and the press the "add an account" button, but in the following screen all I get is Google, facebook and MS Exchange. No trace of Linkedin!
That's very strange because the other accounts work flawlessly... I even have the Linkedin stand-alone app installed on the Pre, and it works fine.

Any hint at what may be wrong?

    Thanks a lot!

u need to download the linded'in app in the app catalogus..
than u can synergy your contact accounts with linked'in.

    good luck!
(didn't work for me because I have zero apps in the app catalogus..)

Are you still on 1.1.3? Check Device Info and select Updates if you are.
    i'm on 1.3.5.2 and it's not included!

That's odd. It's there in mine (thanks for the reminder that it was there so I could add it to my accounts).

Ok, first and foremost thanks everybody for the replys!

    some clarifications:
    - I'm on webOS 1.3.5.1, so I suppose the account should be there.
    - I've downloaded the official Linkedin app from the Apps Catalog, and the app works fine, but still no Linkedin in my contacts accounts.
    - I've tried to delete the Linkedin app and reinstall it, nothing changed.

As a last resort... I'll try the procedure suggested by tomi666, thanks for sharing.

is it by prefs and accounts - add an account?
There I only have google - Facebook - Exchange...

The way they describe it here above is not for me...

Contacts - Prefs&Accounts - Add an account indeed. I have the same image without any modifications to anything.

Just a quick update to this thread to say that I've managed to have the Linkedin account back in place... even if in doing so I've broken a lot of more important functionalities...

    Full story here.

As you can see in the other thread I didn't chicken out ...and now I have a lot more problems than a single, stupid missingLinkedin account!!
I won't give up anyway, I just need some hint to point me in the right direction.
