    Wow, they charge $35/line for activation? Was that doubled along with the ETF or has it always been like that?

    I wonder if it's as easily waive-able as it is with Sprint.

    I think it's been like that for awhile. Sprint charges $36.

    Oh wow, okay; than disregard my comment. For some reason $16 has always been in my head...

    Either way Sprint always waives it for me with no problems.

    I believe Sprint charges $36 for new activations but $18 for things like upgrades. (Not totally sure of the details so someone please fill in how the $18 thing really works.)

    3G mobile hotspot is a separately-purchased feature added to a voice and data plan.
