    The received timestamps are off by 4 or 5 hours. Is there a fix?

    which time stamp patch do you have i think there is lik 3 of them?

    hmm that's odd, i also have that same patch and it works fine for me. i'm running v1.3.4-3 of that patch.

    could it possibly be that the phone is set to the wrong timezone?

    I have version 1.3.5.-3 and I've tried reinstalling it, didn't help

    mine is off by a few mins on the incoming text. Usually a little late on the time.

    there's nothing wrong with th patch. Ppl don't realize that even without the patch the pre does this same function of timestamping if your phone was off or for any other reason the message came in late.

    I've reinstalled this soo many times, my time zone is correct too.

    No Rashad. He's not calling you a liar. He's just saying this isn't caused by the patch. Usually this is due to the network... could be an outage or by being in a poor coverage area.

    I see you are roaming. Perhaps that is why your texts are having the wrong timestamp. Can you move to an area where you aren't roaming and see if the stamps are wrong??

    In my area my phone goes in an out of roaming, the time is correct for the clock and outgoing messages.

    I tried that about 5 times, it was because of the roaming. I'm on Sprint right now and it's working fine
