Video Thumbnails

I downloaded some ipod compatible MP4s from youtube (360x480, avc1, 30fps) and they play great on the pre, but for some reason they do not show thumbnails in my video player. Does anyone know why?

hmm.. Well I don't use itunes. How do I tag the video with a thumbnail manually? Can you suggest some software to do it?

On a whim I decided to try my MP3 tagger (Mp3tag) and it works. Thanks for your help!

And VLC does a good job (and it's free) of letting you capture a frame (Video > Snapshot menu) to use for the thumbnail

It would be better if the Pre maybe put the first frame of the video as a thumbnail by default .. Patch anyone ?
