Since most of my apps have been moved, will the new 1.3.5 update cause any problems? Is there anything I need to do before I update my Pre?

I have already removed all patches and themes.

    Not sure...

I am thinking after you do the update to 1.3.5, you should be able to do a
    mvapp restoreall
to move everything from the /media partition back to /var.

Check out http://forums.precentral.net/webos-i...ml#post2009447 for more details...

I'm not 100% sure, but I suspect that the apps that are installed and have been moved to the USB partition are no longer going to work after the 1.3.5 update. It's just a guess, but the reason I believe this is that the USB partition doesn't support symbolic links. MVAPP moves the files to the USB partition and creates a symbolic link pointing to them. If 1.3.5 does as is expected, and moves all of those apps (including the symbolic links) to the USB partition, I don't think they will work.

However, I do believe that mvapp restoreall would fix that, since it would remove the link, and put the files back. If all else fails, I believe XORG will have the MVAPP script modified to fix everything in short order.
