hi all, just this last weekend I was unable to connect to the server on the nfl app. I launch the app, and moments later an error message comes up saying unable to reach server. I thought this was a problem for everyone but I checked the forums and found no other posts about it. I have no patches, I rebooted and shut down my pre many times with no luck. Not sure if this is related, but I also get an error everytime I try to go to wf.com thanks for any help!

Same thing here. I launch the NFL application, the reload button appears. I tap it and two seconds later a pop-up window consisting of "Error Can't connect to the server - try again later" appears. Sidenote...I do continue to get the alerts for my favorite team though. Thoughts anyone?

I never use this app, but I did just try it and got the message "cannot connect with server - try again later". Never use this app, but just wanted to check to see if it worked.

I noticed the same thing this weekend. Same results with the NASCAR app too so I think it's a related issue. Went to Sprint on Monday and they said there were no known issues related to this. Nice to know I'm not alone. For my co-worker, both his apps work just fine. I'm hoping the next (long over due) update fixes this along with all the other issues....

The NFL app is "teh sux0rs". And so is that damned SprintTV app. Can't comment on the Nascar app, but if the other two are any indication, then it begs the question: Why do all of Sprint's apps suck?

I just tried my NFL and NASCAR 'apps' and they both work fine. I've never tried to watch a game on it.

My Sprint TV works well too

After turning Wifi off, NFL app streams perfect. Will error out with Wifi enabled, or that's my experience.

The NFL and Sprint TV apps are provided through Sprint's network. If you're connected to WiFi, you can't get data through Sprint's network, so therefore those apps won't work.

Don't ask me why they don't tell you this...

At least I was able to watch the Chargers on TV today.

I cleared my cache, cookies, and history. I turned off wifi and did a reboot and still get the same error message. FYI I used to view nfl network while on my wifi so I doubt that's the problem

I have tried all the above suggestions. None seem to work. Hopefully this is fixed soon. the playoffs are 2 weeks away.

I have had the exact same problem for about a week, my NFL had always worked fine. I spoke with two separate people in "advanced technical support" at Sprint. They claimed they had never heard of this problem. I removed the battery, did a data reset, cleared cache etc. Still does not connect to server. They advised doing a reset to factory defaults which I would rather not do, as I don't want to lose all of my saved text messages. Very aggravating as I use the NFL mobile live a lot!

I have the same problem. I have been on the phone with Sprint and Palm for over 2 hours and over 2 days. Palm says the problem is with Sprint, then again the guy I spoke to didn't even know what the NFL was. As for Sprint, they sent me to their "specialists" that didn't even have any ideas on the Pre. He said he didn't know what I was talking about and thought I was trying to use the web and was telling me to try typing in http : // to pull up the site. I told him it was a factory installed app and would not connect to the server. After having me redo all the basic things (i.e. pull the battery, update settings), he told me to go into a Sprint store, show them what it is doing and they should give you a new phone. Any help is appreciated, otherwise off to the store I go tomorrow. I will update on what happens.

My app is working fine. Maybe the update to 1.3.5 will be helpful. Good luck.

It's wierd, both my kid's NFL apps work's on their pre's, and mine worked fine a week ago, but now, even after the 1.3.5 update, it still does not work. I never use this app, but I just noticed that the NFL channel works on Sprint TV.

please let me know what happens tony. I updated and this is still not working, and I would love a new (even refurbed) pre if a broken nfl app warrants one, but I doubt it will...

It used to work over WiFi, but it's since been blocked, or removed, whatever you want to call it.

“NFL Mobile Live is your all-access season pass from the Opening Kickoff to Super Bowl XLIV. Download NFL Mobile Live — only from Sprint, only on the Now Network™..”

I'm not exactly sure why they block it over WiFi. Perhaps they can't restrict it to users that don't subscribe to it when going over WiFi.
