For all you Pre owners who used to own a Treo 600.

There was a class action lawsuit back in the dim past. If you had a Treo 600 during a certain time and applied to join the suit, you should be getting your settlement money about now.

I just bought another Pre battery at about half price with mine

Got mine too. If anyone else has a code they're not using I would help it not go to waste.

I never elected to participate in the suit but I did get the settlement. I think you are automatically in unless you opt out.

What an amazing device the 600 was for its time. If could do things 6 years ago that the iphone has just started to be able to do in the last year.

Out interest, what was the law suit about?

Thought my 600 was great although the screen death with pixels turning orange eventually led to its replacement.

The settlement stipulates that at least two repairs or replacements were made for a Treo 600 or 650 in order to get the rebate. Other option is for Palm to repair or replace the phone past the normal warranty period.

I never had my Treo 650 repaired. It's only problem was lockups and reboots but not often enough to worry about.

My new Palm Pre will sometimes reboot as well if somone calls me while I have it connected to my vehicles Bluetooth. Does it in three vehicles but they're all Dodge/Chrysler so some incompatibility there.

Was that the random $20 adjustment that Sprint just emailed me about?
