I took this snap shoot from an episode of Numbers. It' s a picture featuring the Palm Pre with the telephone app open. But it looks really different. Does anyone know what this is??????

to me, it doesn't look like a Pre! The screen is similar but the hardware looks a little different.

Uh, it does? You can even see the USB door on the right side there.

He's right, I noticed it on another show that had the Pre (flashforward maybe) that the screenshots they used were simulated and not from the device itself. Sorry, just a cgi artists interpretation of what should be on there, not actual as far as I know :P

its a pre but it may be a beta version or something like that, before it came out in june

if you look closely you can see a reflection of something in the top half the goes over onto the screen so im not so sure its not real

Its got the missed call icon with the arrow in and out in the lower right hand corner, partially covered by his hand. Thats a pre notification icon, so it looks like a pre.

    Yep.
They just wanted to easily show the # of missed calls and voicemail messages... so it's just a simple way to tell.
