Question What 4 icons do you have on launch bar?

I am surprised with how many people seem satisfied with the Launch Bar having an irremovable icon to applications when it is more accessible with a single upward gesture swipe. With a limit of 5 icons on the Launch Bar having a fixed icon that is rarely if ever used seems a waste of space.

Now I am curious what 4 icons do people use on their launch bar and if you could remove the fixed app icon what would you put there?

I have:
phone dialer
messaging
email
contacts

I would add:
Agenda (calendar)

I have phone, tweed, web and calendar. I probably put the where app there. Or maybe the weather channel. I thought there was a patch to add more.

Is there a patch to change them around?

I would keep launcher because I use it often for more than one application.

For those of you that would keep the Launcher Icon, may I ask why? Is not a simple upward gesture swipe quicker and easier than pinpointing to an exact icon location?

I've yet to see a patch, but I think i remember about a paid theme that did some customization.

A custom Launch Bar that scrolled left to right that could have more icons added to it would be pretty sweet.

From Left to Right....

Phone Dialer, Calendar, NewsRoom, Dealert

Random thought...is there any other way of calling up the phone dialer (perhaps through patching) it would be cool if holding down the center button for a few seconds would activate it (although I guess in the pocket that could cause problems)

Do any of you have any solutions for the above that you use? I know you can just type the contact but I like having the phone app handy but would like to put something in its place on the launch bar.

Messaging, Twee, Mail, Calendar.....what else would you possibly need on the quick launch?

Why not just start typing the name of the person (or the number) you want to dial? If you type an entire phone number you can just hit the bar it's in with the phone icon and it will dial it. If you're typing a name, matches come up, tap the match, then tap the # for that person you wanna dial.

Dialer
Contacts
Calendar
Web
Launcher

I don't email or message much but those would be the next two I'd add. Contacts would be the first one I'd drop.
