    Hi,

When making a phone call on my Palm Pre (Sprint), my touchscreen does not shut off like it is supposed to, and my ear inadvertently pushes things, including hanging up on phone calls or opening up new cards.

I have done a full reinstall using webosdoctor, and I still have the issue with a clean phone.

Any suggestions, or is this a defective issue that I should bring back to Sprint? I don't see an option anywhere that I might of shut off.

    Thanks

If the Doctor didn't fix it, then it very well could be a hardware problem instead of a software problem.

If you can spare the time, a trip to Sprint wouldn't hurt. Their technicians would probably be able to tell you if the problem is the software or that the sensor is defective and help you take the necessary steps to fix it and give you a refurbished one if it's the hardware that's gone kaput.
