    i just got a new pre today, and it will not transfer my numbers through the palm profile. i do not have the numbers saved anywhere except on my palm profile. the contact names show up with their pictures i set for them, but there is no number that goes with them. when i click on the contact, it goes into it but it is empty and then it quickly backs out to the contacts list of everyone i have. can someone please help me.

    the only thing i know of you can do is a hard reset then log in to your profile and let it update again and see if it loads your contacts if it does look into another way of backing them up

    This happened to me when I updated to 1.3.1. Just call Sprint customer service (from another phone, not from your Pre), and tell them you need to speak to a Palm technician. Once you get transferred there, they will have you do a partial erase, and then they will "push" all of your info into your phone over the air waves. Worked for me. Just make sure not to call from your Pre (cause you will be turning it on and off while talking to the Palm rep).
