    Long time reader of the forums, normally get my answers without actually posting.

    So I'm on my third Pre now, every single one suffering from the stuck headphone bug. Each one has been a very bad case where all the normal fixes don't work for long (hours at best without plugging anything in, just reoccurs). My current Pre is so bad it's happening mid call.

    1. Used voicemail/mute trick
    2. Used music/unplug trick
    3. Used cotton swab/alcohol trick

    Still have a phone that is totally not usable.

    I am very careful with my phones, am I doing something wrong here? If I wasn't 800 miles from home I'd be an ex pre owner already... any help would be great.

    plug in headset and turn on music listen for a min turn off music and unplug and try the earpiece now . You cannot plug in or unplug when in use it gets confused. If not then reboot phone and try it again it should work

    It just sounds like you have bad luck with your earpiece. I've drop my several times and no problems.
