OK, so I have a Palm Pre with 72 patches installed. somewhere along the way, my universal search began sending all of my web searches through Google directly to Google with everything in Espaniol (I think pretty sure it isn't French, German or Italian.

I cannot find any patch that would do this and cannot find a default setting. When I look at the home page for Google, it says "Google.com" I have to click the Google English link at the bottom of every search.

    Please help

I also was having this issue.
Google remembers the last account you were signed in as even for doing basic Google Searches. Make sure you are logged into an account that you will be using the most on the Pre.

You should now be in English. If not you now have options at the very bottom of the page that you can set including the default language.

Go to "More" and select the "Language Tools." You can then tell it to use English under the My Language drop down.

The Pre "should" remember and auto log you in from then on.

    I hope this helps.

I think that did it. Thank you very much.

Now if we could only figure out a way for a Bengals fan to get along with a Steelers fan.

I've never logged into any alternate Google profile but I have
noticed the same behavior several times since I've owned the Pre.
All versions of WebOS. I think it's just a quirk of Google, when perhaps
one server or set of servers gets bogged down, it redirects some users to
alternates, and sometimes it's a different language. I've seen other
languages besides Spanish. I always just ignore it, and it returns
to normal usually within an hour or two.

Is there anyway to default it to search google.co.uk instead of google.com?
I had to implement a "patch" on my laptop browser (google chrome) to force it to search google.co.uk instead of google.com when highlighting and rightclicking a word.
I know i seems a bit of a silly question but beleive me it makes a big difference especially if searching for stuff to buy etc.

    Thanks,

I think it's Palm/WebOS related. I use google all day on my workstation and it's NEVER done that.
