By popular request, I have made a demo video of my app, Dealert.

This is v1.1 of Dealert which hasn't been pushed to the App Catalog yet. The App Catalog version is still 1.0. 1.1 should be up very shortly though.

Let me know what you think

Very nice. I have your app and it is very handy. I will update once this comes out.

Oh btw, you may consider adding the site Dell Coupons, Best Buy Coupons, Discount Cheap Laptops, Computer Sale

Complex, techbargains is apart of the 1.0 (not 1.1) update. Are you updated to the latest?

Looks really nice! I hope this new version controls memory leakage better than the one before. I've noticed during background notification, the application tends to produce the "Sorry, too many cards open" message.

Yep, that is precisely what 1.1 deals with. Dealert is now very froogle with resources in 1.1. In the previous version, there is a bug where Dealert doesn't actually close when you throw the card away. This happened if one of the ajax requests to one of the sites never completed before you threw the card away.

Now, in 1.1, when you throw the card away, I clear out all pending/current ajax requests, flush all of the current deal site arrays, and cleanup all uses of memory. I verified Dealert uses no resources when closed via the Palm Worm tool they recently offered developers.

I am really hoping Palm pushes out the new update quickly.

Once 1.1 hits the app catalog, I'm going to make my first mobile phone application purchase, eveeeer.

    Great work.
Just waiting for the day my Pre has contacts grouping, and a "speed dial" for text messaging
