Download contacts FROM Pre??

I'm new to the site and am sure this inquiry has been made. Is there any way to download the contacts FROM my Pre TO anywhere manageable (an email account, my computer, etc.)? I hear all about uploading - from Facebook, from Google, but how do we access/snyc the contacts that are on our phones?

Also, does missing sync allow 2-way sync-ing and has anyone had success with it?

p.s. I have a MacBook Pro!

I just read somewhere about a new dekstop manager program being released I'll go see if I can find it again.
