Default "I asked my Pre......."

I asked my Pre to find my socks,
I asked my Pre to play Xbox
I asked my Pre to make me lunch
I asked my Pre for Crunch and Munch

I asked my Pre to learn guitar
I asked my Pre to drive my car
I asked my Pre to cook me dinner
I asked my Pre to make me thinner

I asked my Pre to sing and dance
I asked my Pre to take a chance
I asked my Pre to marry me
Alas, my Pre, it could not be.

For the Pre is just a Phone
With apps and games, and neat ringtones.
So when you ask your Pre "to do"
Remember that it's not like you.

You want Pre to do everything
But to the table, nothing you bring
Demands are plenty in your life
So you treat you Pre with hate and strife.

Please be kind and gentle to Pre
And think of all the good that can be.
Look at your Pre, and throw it a bone.
Remember that it's JUST A PHONE!

Have a WONDERFUL day people!

I respond to you in Haiku...

The Pre is my phone
It can do things I can't do.
Touchstone charge lately?

There was a poster on PreCentral

Powerbyte is the name
And rhyming is the game
With prose about Pre, transcendental

Maybe reply in abstract art?

Yeah I bet there are more
And I can't think of any
Now my brain is hurting
Killing me from the inside
Every time I think
Every time I move
Something hurts.

So I sit here trying to recover
Unable to do so
Cursing to the heavens
Kicking and screaming the whole way.

More actually, about 1.75 billion since their last title.

And yet...they play within the rules that they are given by MLB.....we can't blame them....gotta blame the system....Personally I think there should be a $70 million dollar floor, and a $150 million dollar ceiling....

Just remember...if that happens, they great players will STILL come to NY, LA and BOSTON....THEY ALWAYS HAVE.....THEY ALWAYS WILL!

So I say sorry to all those small market teams........

Don't forget prose.

But let me answer this portion of your post:
Quote:
For the Pre is just a Phone
...
You want Pre to do everything
I want my Pre to do everything that a smartphone should do.
I want my Pre to do things that the Centro could do.

I'd like to quickly check my calender events
2 seconds between day flips makes no sense

I'd like to set a repeating task
I'd like the battery to last all day. It's not too much to ask.

When the phone rings, the buttons I touch
But the OS can get so busy that apparently answering is too much.

There's more that I could say
But that's enough complaining for today.

I asked my Pre, "Do you voice dial?"
"I won't do that for quite a while."
I asked my Pre "What about MSN?"
"Wait eight months, then ask me again."
"How about a call blocking list, to keep out the jerks?"
"No, but I promise I'll make sure that iTunes works."
"And the App Catalog, surely that must be kinder..."
"It's mostly a collection of restaurant finders."
"Remind me what it was that made you so influential."
"It's not about capability, but more about potential.
If useful functions is what you're about,
Just wait till 2012, when WebOS 2.0 comes out!"

Kidding! I couldn't resist.
