Backup not always working

FYI,

After a full erase not all my data was restored. Apps and calender worked great but only got back 6 of my contacts. Stopped into Sprint to inquire and was told they had seen that 3 times recently. I called Palm tech support and this is what they said. They are experiencing problems with lost contacts but are hoping to have it corrected soon. The tech went on to say that when I re-enter my contacts I should use my Google profile, and I quote "the Google web site is more reliable than the palm profile at present time." I still have office 2000 which does not support any sync software I am aware of so I had to email my contacts as a v-card from outlook and restore them manually. I have since ordered office 2007. Just thought I would share.
