    I've been using Sprint's SMTP server for outgoing email, with no problems. But, now, all of a sudden, I can no longer send email. I get the error "Login credentials rejected. Update your password."

    Now, I thought maybe the password had expired. So, I went to Sprint's webmail page and updated my password...and changed the password on my Pre to the same.

    Still cannot send.

    Deleted email account from the Pre and re-added...no luck...same problem.

    This started last night. Anyone else have an issue all of a sudden??

    Now maybe I miss understood when nearly a year ago sprint notified me saying that they where getting rid of sprint email.

    They did say that, but have since decided to keep the server up and running.

    It was supposed to have stopped on Dec 31 2008 officially, but it still worked up till last month, then no more. I had been using it for at least 6yrs before they finally rested it.

    I got it to work again using the NAI username, without the @sprintpcs.com.
