    hello
searched forums and found errors with keyboard, etc, but not for msg fwding, so i ask. I have Preware v0.9.5, and the latest Package Manager (not sure of the version).

I tried to install the text fwding patch and received an error. Too long to paste plus cant get it from Pre to here easily.
    HUNK#1 succeeded at 1561 (offset 20 lines)
    patching file usr/palm/....
    HUNK#1 failed at 8
    Removing package.

    Failure during post-install script execution.

    Any suggestions?
    Thanks

i guessing you have installed this before and uninstalled it? even if not i think this will help. you should find it on the either list. click remove you will get a an error message but it will be fix and you should be able to get it.

    use step one here

thanks drewjohn. I opened Preware looked at my installed packages, apps, etc, and I dont see message forwarding anywhere. I tried to install it in the past, and it gave me the same error, so it never really installed. To run preware, I dont have to be in dev mode, right?

Sorry, I didnt do step one in webos. Will do tonight.

Move on to steps two and three, although I prefer to skip to step 3 myself. I like to sit at my computer and watch the Repair Utility work. I'm odd like that.
