Notifications question.. (how do i)

How do i keep my txt messages and ims from scrolling across the bottom of the screen??? I just want the text icon to pop up letting me know i have a text.

You can turn off notifications separately in each application (e-mail/messaging). However it's a all or nothing affair as the small icon is the minimized version of the notification.

Side note - Are your notifications really scrolling rather than popping up?

i believe they pop up i just dont want the text at the bottom.. get working palm!!! any patches in prewear for that?

Notifications are not going anywhere. They are one of the big selling features/advantages of webOS.
