So I've had my Pre since August, and I love it.

I've been getting the stupid update alert everytime I charge for about a week now, and I've just been saying "install later". I've already updated several times.

This last time, I must have forgotten to hit install later, because it automatically started updating before I noticed, so I let it finish.

After the update, my pre won't turn on. I've pulled the battery and everything. Nothing.

    Any ideas?

Ive purchased mine today so im a newbie aswell,

shouldnt be this 200MB WebOSDoctor App the one to fix your pre?

You can find the link in the how to install Homebrew App Section

was your pre pluged in to the charger when this happened ?? i would just plug it in for an hour or two and then try to power on again . then if not take it to sprint and get another battery and try that and if not then get a new phone lol

you could try the thing where you take out battery then hold the volume up key while placing the battery back in the phone and keep holding then the phone should turn on in the usb mode , and if you cant do anything after that you can at least run web doc. .

Yeah, it was plugged into the charger. That's the first thing I thought too was maybe the battery was too low.

About 10 minutes after I posted originally, the beloved palm sign came back.

Not sure what the deal was.
