My company has a wireless network which I can connect to on my laptop. On my Pre I just cannot get this thing to work. here are the particulars of the network:

    Network Authentication: Open

    Data Encryption: CKIP

    Enable 802.1x

    Authentication Type: LEAP

    User Name: ******

    Password: *******

I don't see a whole lot of options I cans et in the Pre to get this to connect. Any help on doing this or does the Pre not support this type of network connection.

From what I can see, the Pre does not support CKIP/LEAP.

From what I can find thus far, CKIP/LEAP support appears to be all but non-existent outside of Windows.

Hmmm ok. I was looking at the Pre page at Palm ww.palm.com/us/business/pre-index.html and they have this listed

    Wi-Fi, GPS, and 3G
    Wi-Fi, GPS, and 3G

    * Connect to the web at the speed of 3G for fast data access.6
    * Get safer access to your corporate information. Browse websites using SSL and 128-bit encryption. Connect to Wi-Fi networks with support for corporate security (WEP, WPA, WPA2) and authentication protocols (EAP-TLS, PEAP v1/v2, EAP-TTLS, EAP-FAST, LEAP).
    * Get where you're going faster with turn-by-turn driving directions, business look up, traffic reports, maps, and other location-based services with built-in GPS.
I thought I missed something in the options.

Ok, so it can use LEAP. However, it doesn't list CKIP as an option.
