App catalog broken on my Pre?

Hi,

I deleted accidently Accuweather and wanted to reload, but what happend? I see over all 23 apps in the catalog. No Accuweather.. Grmpf...

I´m using a german pre with the sprint-firmware and is working well so far, beside the app catalog..

Has someone an idea how to fix it?

Or can someone provide me the ipk-file, so I can install Accuweather by myself..

Is it possible to add the app catalog ressources to webOS Quickinstall so I can use this to install official apps?

first bring up the launcher page the swipe down from where it says launcher in the top left and then hit list apps and see if it actually deleted . if it did then reboot pre and go look in the app catalog again if it is still there delete it from there by tapping it and then go back and reload it

ps if you still cant find the app in the catalog ,from the main page in catalog type in accuweather and hit enter then it will pop up

it is deleted.. Checked it already..

Problem is, that I can´t find accuweather. If I search for it, it says "not found".

The app catalog has only 23 apps, not more.. Thats weird..

Any other idea?

did you doctor your phone or something ?? if all you can see is 23 apps then something is wrong badly lol you may have to redo the doctor if your using the german pre im not real good with all that stuff but it could be lost to you in translation lol

nope. Did nothing like that.. I had all apps some time back.. And it seems I´m not the only one with that problem..

Thanks for the links, but I had 1.2.1 installed 2 weeks ago.. I was able to install accuweather with 1.2.1.

I just recognized that the catalog is not working correctly, as I was deinstalling accuweather (I wanted to deinstall wetter.com...)

So something went wrong after 1.2.1. installation.. But I have no idea what..

tried it already. Also a new palm profile to make sure, that is not the problem.. Plain Pre, same issue..

maybe need to find out if there is a filter thats doing this through palm or something

My experience it seems that the App Catalogs aren't really separate, but just have certain region apps hidden from other regions.

Sorry, I wish I knew.

I tend to browse other country apps by just changing the applicationid number and see what comes up. I'm sure this will be a lot harder when the app catalog gets bigger.

If any app catalog guru wants to chime in, go for it.

Had to swap the pre, because a damage on the display..

Accuweather is gone again and the link above is not working anymore.. "App Catalog unavailable"
