Am I stupid or is this just not possible? For example, when a call comes in when the screen is locked, it seems there is no way to ignore the call and redirect it to voice mail. I can check the screen and see who it is, but then I sit there and stare at it while it keeps ringing in your hand, because if I unlock the phone, it answers automatically. If the phone is unlocked, there's an ignore button and I can send the caller to voice mail and make the ringer shut up. How can I do this when a call comes in while the phone is locked or in standby?

    Press the power button twice.

Press the power button to ignore a call while the phone is locked. This will kill the ringer.

    How clearly obvious!

I guess I should have tried that already. Seems I tried everything else. Will that just kill the ringer, or will it send the caller immediately to VM? The latter is what I want to do.

Press once to turn off the ringer, press twice to send caller directly to VM.
