what is e note of the (Pre-) ID value for Telenor Serbia?

Menage all, now all 3 networks in Serbia are working properly sms,gprs,edge 3G no need for palm pre account. Sincronise with Yahoo,Gmail,Facebook,working perfect! One issue is that mms is not working so what change did you made in SQLite Database Browser 2.0 b1 for mms set up, can some one send me what data were changed to achieve mms working?

Hello. I purchased a German Pre 2 weeks ago.. Used it in Germany with a e-plus(?) local SIM card that I purchased and it worked fine.. Then was in London for a week, and was able to use it with an Orange SIM card.. Now I am back in the US, and I am able to use my AT&T SIM in the phone and everything seems to work ok.. The GPS service works fine, etc. The only problem that I seem to have is that the phone only shows E(Edge) when I turn the WIFI off, and never shows 3G. Has anyone used a German Pre in the US? Will modifying the files mentioned earlier in this thread fix the 3G issue? Does anyone know the appropriate settings for US AT&T 3G?

Hi Aikimo!

Congratulations on your new Palm Pre I still remember my excitement when my Pre arrived! Anyways, from what I understand, the AT&T 3G network (whilst being GSM-based), uses a different network band than the European Telco Carriers. Euro 3G is based on a technology known as UMTS2100. I believe T-Mobile uses this band, whereas AT&T uses something else... most likely 850Mhz.

Anyways, this means that you might not be able to access full 3G on your Pre unless you jump to T-Mobile.

Any AT&T users here? I could be wrong ..

hey guys.. i am on cosmote Romania..the operator is not in the db so i took another carrier modified the MCC and MCN, the APN and left blank for user and pass (as normaly is here) then i uploaded the file and now its not working... what am i doing wrong ?

My palm pixi plus v 1.4.5 can make voice calls and send or receive sms also connect to internet via wifi. I am living in Congo the DRC, In Goma town. I want to use date or Gprs connection to access the internet, but my palm do not accept my Mtn settings. It says: Un able to write settings. I tried to change carier but in vain. What can i do? Is there a way to solve this issue?help please!
