Will the Pre support MSN soon?

Yes. It supports it now if you do homebrew.

It won't let me post the url to the thread or I would send you a direct link, but search for org.webosinternals.messaging on Google and you will find it. Go to page 1 of the forum post and it will be available for download.

WindyLive is cool, but the homebrew option works seemlessly with the already existing messaging interface.

windylive redirects you to a website. This patch modifies your built-in messages application to support yahoo, icq and MSN. Much nicer to have that automatic background connection.

The only problem with it is you can't link your contacts together or else bad things will happen.

It also takes a whopping 11MB out of your precious app install partition.
