    An RDP client.

A WinSCP like SCP/SFTP client and good SSH client. (To those saying the current free terminal is good enough...it has tiny tiny fonts, even at 8x8 that are a bit too small for my taste, and well, somethings are just easier dragging from the touchscreen than typing away on the keyboard, especially when it's so small and missing a bunch of keys/symbols a regular keyboard has.)

    3. GrooveShark mobile client (listen to any song anywhere, anytime for free)

    more to come.....

    2. HP business calculator emulator with both standard and RPN. $15

    3. Voice control $10

    4. Logmein client $15

Any app that offers new functions or features that can't be easily done using the browser. That is, an amazon app isn't that amazing for me since i can go to amazon.com. Same with facebook..though an app is preferred.

Some examples of what i see as useful:

    CallRec (records calls automatically)
    Kindle
    Slingbox
    Voicememos
    Visual Voicemail
    Docs to go
Loan amortization (TValue™ Amortization Software Version 5)
    Shazam
    Red Laser (scans barcodes)

Then there's ones that enhance core apps like calendar.

And finally games or time wasters like bejeweled, chess, scrabble, risk, etc. Don't need 3D but wouldn't complain if they come later. Multiplayer is preferrable. WordAce rocks there.

I've been using the Palm OS Docs to Go on Classic for some time.

Since I wasn't sure what files from Docs to Go the installer put on my old TX, I acted as if I was going to install Docs to Go on the TX again, and then looked at Palm's "Install Tool", which shows what files it wants to install in my TX, and I kept that list and set it aside.

Then I cancelled the install (since it was already on my TX) and then fired up the TX. I used the free program called "FileZ" to navigate to all the Docs to Go files that were previously installed on the TX and that were also on the list that I had just saved from my mock "install." I copied these files to the expansion card on my TX.

Then I took out the expansion card from the TX, and copied these files to the "Install" folder in Classic, while my Pre was in USB mode. Docs to Go installed without a hitch and I've been editing Word docs and spreadsheets since June.

To sync these edited files, I just run Microsoft's free "SyncToy" utility, and when my Pre is in USB mode, I just tell SyncToy to sync the D2G folder on my Pre (Folder inside the Classic folder where all my docs are) with the D2G folder within My Documents on my PC.

It works well enough that I haven't been overly anxious for D2G for WebOS. It helps if your old copy of D2G for Palm OS is recent enough to support native Word and Excel files.

I would pay $10 (actually I'd probably pay $20+ for it) for a robust file/device management tool like Resco Explorer on WinMo. Inclusion of full FTP and ZIP file manipulation would be a must.

Internalz is an awesome start to this... anxious to see where it goes!

    +1,000,000 !!!!

I originally listed the idea here: http://forums.precentral.net/palm-pr...filer-app.html

Love the idea of GPS-specific profiles, too.

Pack 'n' Track on 5 Pre's. (In other words, an app like this is only worth about $1.99 to me.)

For $10, the app would have to be something that I use very regularly (ie: every day) and the app would need to provide some useful need that would otherwise not be met. $10 is too much for a "me too" game but would be a fair price for some really good task planner that does "GTD" (getting things done) or something similar. If such an app worked out of the box (without customizing) then the price could go to $15 or $20 if I were not going to be hit up for more $ for updates and new features. You have to be the first or second vendor in a particular space to command the $10 price and your app has to be useful enough that people will be willing to plunk down that amount of cash.
